The Lightweight Drop-Point blade was designed to satisfy the strict legal guidelines of the UK that govern the size and function of all pocket knives carried in public. This knife is a SLIPIT non-locking folder that is accepted virtually everywhere for slip in your pocket urban carry.
This uniquely functional knife features opposing jimping on the thumb ramp and index-finger choil for positive control.
Also features a black Grivory handle with a textured finish and a reversible tension-wire clip for tip-up pocket carry. The CTS-BD1 stainless steel drop point blade is satin finished with a full flat grind and a plain edge.
A sharpened edge with no serrations or teeth, sometimes referred to as a“smooth” edge.
A design popularised by the hunting knives of the late Bob Loveless, the Lightweight has a drop-point blade where the spine of the blade follows a subtle convex arc to the point.
The Blade Grind is a full-flat grind.
The Lightweight knife has a Slip-Joint, non-locking mechanism in which the blade is held open by spring pressure on a flat section on the back of the blade's tang.
Skeletonised stainless steel liners and textured FRN (Fibreglass Reinforced Nylon) handle provides a secure grip, even in the most demanding environmental conditions.
